Wonderful experience here the other night! Stopped by with some friends and enjoyed their pop up bar and also the best tacos from their taco truck! Definitely looking forward to going back. The owners were so warm and friendly. The ambiance was that perfect vintage Christmas vibe. They also have chess to play! If you're looking for a nice holiday outing, this is the place to go!

The food was excellent. This was the second time my family and I were there and the service is wonderful. The ambience is lovely. Everything about this place I love and the owner was able to speak with us today and she is a lovely person. The cooks her husband and it's awesome.

We returned to Yemanja after seeing the food truck at an event. The menu has changed but the restaurant interior was the same or just didn't notice any change. The Brazil curry stew (Moqueca) was incredible. Before the menu change, they did not offer a vegetarian version of this. I'd order this every time. We also tried the tapioca bites for the appetizer. These are new to the menu as well. Everything is phenomenal. I love the Caipirinha but the double was a bit too strong. We had the same server we did previously and she's great. Very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. I highly recommend Yemanja!

I've been to Yemanja multiple times & I try a new entree everything time, each time never disappoints! The spot is so cozy, so cute & such a vibe! It can be a quiet intimate dinner or you can make it into a fun filled group dinner! Tonight I got the seafood risotto & it was, CHEFS KISS! So delicious! For desserts we got the apple empanada with caramel drizzled over it with vanilla ice cream, the other empanada was pumpkin rolled in cinnamon sugar with a side of vanilla ice cream. Make sure you don't skip dessert because you'll regret it! It doesn't get much fresher than this! Every time I've gone, the owners have been here & they are so sweet, so personable, ask you how things are & make an effort to talk to you. Make sure to check out this super convenient & delicious Brazilian restaurant in the heart of Benton Park.

I'd give this spot 100 stars if I could. Yemanja Brasil always offers a special experience with its warm and eclectic ambiance. The abundance of pescatarian options is a real treat, showcasing the rich flavors of Brazilian cuisine. Lemya, the owner, adds a personal touch, making each visit fantastic. The homage to Yemọja "Yemanja", the Water Goddess, adds a unique cultural touch to the dining experience. The seafood risotto and shrimp empanadas are definite highlights, making it a spot worth frequenting.

So amazing. I've been wanting to try this place for years and finally did last night. The patio is lovely and has heaters. We had a special appetizer that was pork belly and potato? rolled up and deep fried with a chipotle aioli. We shared the Pescado Miranda and Frango Minas. Everything was fantastic, including the service and ambiance. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend!

So I attended a gin festival event this past Sunday and the Yemanja Brazil food truck was there for us to order and buy the food. The food truck was located in the back of the building. We ordered two entrees and the yucca fries. This is my first time trying the yucca fries and they were delicious. I love fries in general and do like to eat boil yucca but I never thought about this combo and it worked out wonderfully. The staff was nice and service was pretty fast.

Wowowow! Been wanting to try Yemanja Brasil for quite some time now, and I absolutely loved it. This review is about their food truck experience and their food. I did not have a dine in experience, but am really looking forward to doing so. I tried the food truck at an event at Wild Carrot. It was a gorgeous day outside- the perfect kind of food truck day so it really fit the vibe. There was a bit of a line when I went to go order, but it moved fairly quickly. I had a hard time deciding what I wanted because everything sounded so incredible, but ultimately ended up ordering the beef empanadas. I waited about 5 minutes, which I've waited much longer at food trucks. They have it down to an incredible system. The beef empanadas were amazing. You can very much tell they're homemade and made to order. They're super crispy and the filling inside was the perfect amount of spice and deliciousness. Super happy I got the opportunity to try them out and am really looking forward to going to their storefront!

I think Yemanja is THE BEST Brazilian food in St. Louis! This locally owned restaurant is such a gem and I hope you get to try it! I have tried a variety of their appetizers, like their Yucca fries which is a must, and if they have them on appetizer special, their tapioca cheese bites are TO DIE FOR! So delicious! For the main course, my fav is the chicken in a cream sauce with rice and raisins, I know, raisins, but trust me, it is DELISH! Also have tried their delicious beef dishes and they have some great seafood and fish entrees too. My only issue is the hours, they are only open on Friday-Sunday and they are only open for dinner from 5-10pm. I think it might be 4-9pm on Sunday. It would be nice to check them out for lunch on the weekends just because I don't tend to go out much for dinner. They also have a food truck that attends St. Louis events and they also host Bazil St. Louis on their property and that is a must! One of the best international events in St. Louis!

Truly authentic Brazilian food in the heart of STL! While I love every single thing here, my absolute favorite thing is the Franco Minas, which is shredded chicken in a four cheese cream sauce, served over a perfectly seasoned rice and sprinkled with raisins. I prefer my rice on the side and extra raisins, pro tip!! My other favorite food here is when they have the Dadinhos special, which are tapioca cheese bites that have a wonderful crunch on the outside and an interesting cheese texture on the inside. It's truly unlike anything else! Don't skip out on their drinks either, you'll never have a more authentic or strong caipirinha outside of Brazil. Oh and their patio? It's gorgeous, a great atmosphere, and allows dogs!
